Increment is a band from Perth, Western Australia, currently breaking through the emo indie rock scene. increment is currently touring WA to promote their debut EP titled Everything Stays The Same. We caught up with Increment’s co-frontmen – Sasha Flack and James Mulreany – ahead of their show at The Bird on Friday, 19 July 2024.
In the space of less than 12 months, Royel Otis has gone from being 'just another' indie band on triplej's rotation, to being well-known to anyone interested in the contemporary Australian music scene. So, who are they? They are a four-piece band from Sydney. Their name is a mashup of the two guitarists: Royel Maddelland Otis Pavlovic. Their music is a blend of indie rock and guitar pop. It's energetic, and fun. The lyrics are catchy, and occasionally nonsensical.
Ghost Care is now firmly in the list of bands I'll be following and keeping an eye out for, and I hope, sooner than later, you might say the same too.
