It will also feature legendary Japanese artists Kenji Takimi, DJ Kentaro, Shinichi Osawa and more to be announced, who are all looking forward to the music and experience-based festival.

Does the name seem familiar? Don’t worry, you’re not tripping. Snow Machine is the sister festival of Wine Machine, which has been known to combine two things we all love: wine and extraordinary music. So although this will be the debut of Snow Machine — we can rest assured that we will be in good hands!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Hakuba, a town 3.5 hours from Tokyo, is famous for hosting the 1998 Winter Olympics. Next winter, it will host an impressive lineup, who will play amongst beautifully curated backgrounds. Expect indoor/outdoor onsens, sweeping mountain-top views, outdoor village stages, as well as mulled wine après soirees.

It is also well-known for its many trails and hot springs — so when you’re not attending the festival, you’ll have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in Japanese culture, whether that be architecture, cuisine, or landscapes.
