We were treated to some spectacular local acts a few weeks ago. Amazing work by the HyperFest team, huge attendance and great times.

Not only were punters enjoying the sun-soaked stages, but also relaxing on couch-cushions on the lawn, playing table-tennis under a huge shaded area or getting wet in the water slides and dunk-em game.

The day's honours are split between Tasmanian punks Luca Brassi, and the Perth dudes from Statues, and Mathas. But that's just my metal/hc bias. Headliners Spit Syndicate and crowd favourite Allday both drew HUGE crowds. The food on offer was also great, better than your average festival fare.
