Ridiculously named user, Mad Sloth,  on (the always accurate...) Urban Dictionary, defines 'Reckon' as "to think, suppose, stipulate". Like Mad Sloth, we too, are angry mammals, and as such are capable of thinking, supposing and stipulating.
You may have noticed the section of Isolated Nation, aptly titled 'You Reckon?' [Note: the question mark indicates that Australian upward inflection we love to make fun of yet always use].

We chose the name because the content here is open, we wanted to let people know what we think, or suppose something to a wider audience; hell, heaven-forbid, we might even stipulate ludicrous!

If you navigate our site (similar to Han Solo [or Anakin Skywalker for the younger less old-school Star Wars savvy readers] navigating through space to defend from and destroy the Sith), you will find our 'You Reckon?' section. Explore the variety and (if I don't say so myself) awesomeness within, almost as if you, yourself were Anakin discovering the force within.

What we really want to know now, is what do YOU reckon? Do you have the right number of midi-chlorians to destroy the dark side?

Do you like 'things'? Do some things really annoy you? Do some of the things I suppose you like pertain less to the material world, and more to the experience? Found another PerthNow fail, or did you and the cars around you get attacked by swans on the Narrows bridge in (apparently) typical Perth peak-hour fashion and ruin your drive? When will you answer all of these questions? Are we too quizzical?

If you have even the smallest creative bone in your body, and have an opinion on something please contact us either using Facebook, Twitter, or the contact form (also to the right), alternatively, email us at infoisolatednation@gmail.com.

May the force be with you.
